Took the kayaks out for the first paddle last weekend. It was 80°F at 10am, just your typical Seattle spring morning. I tried keeping my feet in the water but it was way too much drag...
The herons were out fishing in force and we even saw one nab a fish on a dive into the lake, pelican style... I had no idea that was even in their trick bag. Overall it was a great stretch of water for checking out the mega million homes and the boat houses that make our home feel insecure.
