Urban Outcast Music #51 - Good Enough by Molly Tuttle. Our zoo is on a roll this summer, I got to see Molly play yesterday along with Old Crow Medicine Show!
Jan 28-30th, 2022: If you want a peaceful beach experience, head to the Sound in January. We lucked out with a beautiful stretch of weather (complete with frost on the fish shack roofs). Our destination was Cama Beach State Park on Camano Island which retains the character of its 1930s fishing retreat origin, complete with vintage cabins. Our cabin was a 14'x20' original within a toddler's stone throw of the ocean.
It was a very chill weekend of walking the trails within the park and lounging on the beach until the fingers went numb. During one of the nap windows I did the slightly longer walk up to Cranberry Lake but the main focus of the trip was trying to fill in the ocean, one rock at a time.
I feel like we did a pretty good job of mimicking our ancestors (given the temperatures):
