March 18, 2022 - 2.8 miles & 500' gain: A quick escape up into the mountains which was most notable for being the first trailhead reached with our new electric car (dubbed "New New" by the toddler). Especially with where gas prices were headed this spring, it was nice to let the solar panels provide the fuel. The Twin Falls trail is a great way to get some river time and actually contains three sets of waterfalls:
No good excuse for why it took 8+ years to discover this little gem of a trail but a good reminder for me to not get too focused on high mileage and big elevation gain options.
